The Novint Falcon's detachable Grip (or handle) can be easily attached and removed, as described below. Novint plans to release a variety of Grip in addition to the basic model included with your Falcon. Grips may have unique shapes, functionality, colors and capabilities. In the future, Grips may even store your personal game preferences, high scores, or game content.
Novint Grips may be designed for specific types of game play. You may select a pistol grip for a first person shooter (FPS) games, or a steering wheel for flight simulator or racing games.
Attaching or Removing a Novint Grip
To attach a Grip to the Falcon, simply insert the triangular Grip base onto the front of the Falcon until it snaps into place.
To remove a Grip, press the two levers on the bottom left of the Grip base together and remove the Grip.

Below is an early prototype of a pistol grip Novint has developed. Pull the trigger to shoot and feel the kick of the weapon like in real life. It makes for an amazing FPS experience.
Below are a variety of grip types Novint has explored. Over time, Novint expects to release many grips that easily plug into the Falcon, giving any game or application a powerful physical interface to the user.
